KEY HIGHLIGHTS
- Introduced contextual tooltips for dashboard charts to clarify historical data averaging.
- Added advanced configuration for Zero Feed-In Failsafe and Dynamic Allocation.
- Improved safety and validation for charge point minimum allocation settings.
- Enhanced configuration history visibility for nested charge point changes.
NEW & IMPROVED FUNCTIONALITY
Chart title tooltips and historical data clarification
Issue: FLEX-745
Summary:
The UI now supports optional informational tooltips within chart titles across the dashboard. This allows for contextual explanations to be provided directly alongside visualisations when needed.
The Grid Connection Power Flow chart has been updated to include this tooltip, clarifying that the displayed values are historical and represent an average of the five minutes preceding each timestamp. This ensures a more accurate interpretation of power flow data during monitoring.
Zero Feed-In Failsafe configuration
Issue: FLEX-693
Summary:
A new "Feed-in failsafe" section has been added to the advanced battery configuration modal. This allows for the configuration of critical safety parameters, including Set Point, Threshold, Buffer, and Interval.
These settings ensure the system can maintain safety limits even during interruptions.
Resolved an error in fetching data in the configuration history so the configuration history now displays correctly.
Dynamic Allocation minimum buffer support
Issue: FLEX-609
Summary:
The Dynamic Allocation configuration now includes support for a "Minimum buffer" setting (measured in Amps). This allows for finer control over how power is allocated across charge points.
Additionally, the charge point advanced configuration UI has been updated to include this field, providing better visibility and control over dynamic power distribution.
Validation for power-based Dynamic Allocation fields has also been tightened to enforce positive integers and minimum timeout constraints, ensuring more reliable performance.
BUG FIXES
Safer Force Minimum Allocation validation
Issue: FLEX-777
Fix:
The configuration for force minimum allocation has been updated to prevent misconfiguration. The minimum allocation input is now only visible when the feature is enabled, and the system now requires a value above 0A.
A warning has also been added for values below 6A to alert users to potential compatibility issues with certain AC and DC chargers.
USER IMPACT
- Operators: Can more accurately interpret power flow trends with the new clarification on how historical averages are calculated.
- Administrators: Benefit from safer configuration workflows with improved validation and conditional fields for minimum allocation and failsafe settings.
- System Reliability: Enhanced safety through the introduction of configurable feed-in failsafe parameters for battery systems.
- Transparency: Improved configuration history allows for better tracking of nested charge point changes.
