KEY HIGHLIGHTS
- Resolved configuration feedback issues in the Grid Control and advanced site configuration history interfaces.
- Improved data integrity by preventing unintended value changes from mouse-wheel scrolling on numeric inputs.
- Enhanced the Power Meter configuration UI to support the new failsafe logic.
- Standardised browser tab titles to provide better navigation context across asset detail and overview pages.
NEW & IMPROVED FUNCTIONALITY
Power meter failsafe configuration
Issue: FLEX-197: Power meter failsafe UI update
Summary:
The Power Meter Advanced Configuration UI has been updated to include a new Failsafe value field. This field is designed to replace the legacy Safety current setting to align with updated system logic for failsafe reductions.
To ensure a smooth transition, the UI automatically calculates the new Failsafe value if only legacy data is available and displays a helpful disclaimer. When changes are saved, the system ensures both the new and legacy values are updated to maintain consistent behaviour across different gateway versions.
BUG FIXES
Grid control validation feedback
Issue: FLEX-279: Grid control standard config form issue
Fix:
Previously, the Grid Control "Save" button would appear unresponsive if required fields were missing, providing no feedback to the user. The form now includes conditional validation that triggers clearly visible error messages when required fields are missing, preventing silent submission failures.
Numeric input scroll protection
Issue: FLEX-275: Deactivate scrolling value change at DNO Register address settings
Fix:
A fix was implemented to prevent numeric input fields from changing values when a user scrolls the page. The system now automatically removes focus from numeric fields during a scroll event to block unintended native browser increments or decrements.
Advanced site configuration history mapping
Issue: FLEX-504: SMS config history not being shown correctly
Fix:
The advanced site configuration history view now correctly maps field keys to human-readable labels and correctly identifies the configuration type. Additionally, icons in the asset service column have been corrected to show the proper site indicator.
Dashboard chart scaling
Issue: FLEX-492: Value not visibel / decimal in Dashboard chart
Fix:
Corrected an issue where the Y-axis on dashboard charts would truncate values or display unexpected decimals. The chart now displays the full Y-axis values without fractional parts, ensuring clear visibility of data peaks. Additionally, Y-axis ticks are now evenly spaced for more intuitive reading, and vertical grid lines have been added to improve overall readability of the chart.
Browser tab navigation context
Issue: FLEX-103: Browser tab title inconsistency
Fix:
Resolved an inconsistency where browser tab titles would lose context when navigating between overview and detail pages. Titles now dynamically update to follow a "Site name | Asset name" format, providing clear context for users managing multiple tabs.
USER IMPACT
- Improved Configuration Accuracy: Users receive immediate feedback when configuring Grid Control, reducing the risk of incomplete setups.
- Data Entry Safety: The removal of scroll-based value changes prevents accidental setting modifications while navigating long forms.
- Better Visibility: Dashboard charts and configuration history now provide clearer, more accurate visual data and status reports.
- Easier Navigation: Improved browser tab titles allow operators to more easily distinguish between different sites and assets when using multiple browser windows.
