KEY HIGHLIGHTS
- Expanded grid control configuration options with new voltage and reactive power signals.
- Enhanced charger model support with the addition of Siemens and Ekoenergetyka to the supported charger list.
- Resolved a dashboard reporting issue where solar/PV systems were incorrectly displayed for sites without meters.
- Improved UI reliability for OpenADR configurations to ensure accurate interface representation.
NEW & IMPROVED FUNCTIONALITY
Grid control analog output updates
Issue: FLEX-418: Grid control config update analog output methods
Summary:
The grid control configuration interface has been updated to support more granular analog output options. This allows for the selection of "Voltage L1-L3" and "Reactive Power Instantaneous" as signal types.
These additions facilitate better integration with external monitoring systems and requirements, providing more precise control over the data being transmitted via analog outputs.
Expanded charger model support
Issue: FLEX-557 Add new charger models to charger list in UI
Summary:
The system now includes both Siemens and Ekoenergetyka in the list of supported charge station models. This update also ensures that both manufacturers' models are aligned with standard OCPP state configurations.
This improvement ensures that Siemens and Ekoenergetyka chargers can be correctly identified and managed within the UI, maintaining consistency across different charger manufacturers.
BUG FIXES
Dashboard solar display correction
Issue: FLEX-638: PV/Solar System incorrectly shown on dashboard for sites without solar power meters
Fix:
Previously, the dashboard's site overview incorrectly displayed a PV/Solar system even for sites that did not have solar power meters installed. This led to inaccurate visual representations of the energy infrastructure.
The logic has been corrected to ensure that solar systems are only visualised when the relevant hardware and metering are present, providing a more accurate overview of site assets.
OpenADR interface display correction
Issue: FLEX-604: OpenADR configuration not properly displayed in the UI
Fix:
Previously, the Grid Control page in the charging site panel failed to reflect OpenADR configurations correctly, sometimes defaulting to an IO interface display instead.
The UI has been corrected to accurately represent the OpenADR configuration. Furthermore, the configuration button is now disabled until OpenADR becomes fully configurable in the UI, preventing confusion when interacting with unsupported configuration states.
USER IMPACT
- Operators can now configure grid control systems using a wider range of electrical signals (Voltage and Reactive Power).
- Site managers can now select and identify Siemens and Ekoenergetyka chargers within the system.
- Site managers see a more accurate dashboard representation, as non-existent solar systems are no longer displayed.
- Improved clarity in the Grid Control UI regarding OpenADR settings, reducing the risk of misconfiguration.
