KEY HIGHLIGHTS
- Clearer management of notification distribution lists, reducing the risk of missed or misrouted communications.
- More reliable visual feedback in grid control and overview screens, ensuring UI states match actual system behaviour.
- Improved handling and visibility for Modbus chargers and OCPP state configuration, reducing confusion during setup and troubleshooting.
- Under‑the‑hood improvements to the UI framework and backend client initialisation, strengthening performance and long‑term maintainability.
NEW & IMPROVED FUNCTIONALITY
Distribution list handling
Issue: FLEX-264 – “Issue with distribution list”
Summary:
Refines how distribution lists are handled to ensure recipients are correctly managed and notifications behave as expected. This reduces the chance of incomplete or incorrect recipient lists, helping operators and stakeholders receive the right information at the right time.
Clear charging profile via proxy
Issue: FLEX-336 – “Send Clear charging profile message via proxy - implementation ticket”
Summary:
Implements support for sending “Clear Charging Profile” messages through the proxy layer. This makes it possible to remotely clear charging profiles in a more controlled and consistent way, aligning UI behaviour with backend and OCPP expectations and simplifying operational workflows around profile management.
In the UI, this appears as a dedicated “Clear charging profiles” action on the charging station details page. All action buttons have been visually refined so that everyday configuration, operational tools (like restart and clear profiles), and destructive actions (like delete) are clearly differentiated, making their intent and impact easier to understand at a glance.
BUG FIXES
Grid control menu item highlighting
Issue: FLEX-326 – “Grid control menu item not highlighted”
Fix:
Ensures the Grid Control menu item is properly highlighted when the corresponding view is active. This improves navigation clarity and makes it easier for operators to see where they are in the UI, especially when switching frequently between configuration and monitoring views.
Modbus charger connector visibility
Issue: FLEX-406 – “Modbus charger connector not showing”
Fix:
Resolves an issue where connectors for Modbus chargers were not displayed as expected. Connectors now appear reliably in the UI, allowing operators to configure and monitor Modbus‑based chargers without needing workarounds or manual refreshes.
Dynamic allocation status in Overview
Issue: FLEX-487 – “Dynamic allocation status in the Overview”
Fix:
Corrects how dynamic allocation status is represented in the Overview, so the UI accurately reflects the current allocation status. This helps operators quickly understand whether dynamic allocation is enabled and reduces ambiguity when analysing site behaviour or investigating capacity‑related issues.
OCPP state configuration
Issue: FLEX-499 – “OCPP State Config issue”
Fix:
Fixes inconsistencies in how OCPP state configuration was handled and shown in the UI. States are now applied and represented more reliably, making it easier for integrators and operators to trust that configured OCPP behaviour matches what is actually running on the chargers.
USER IMPACT
Operators
- Clearer navigation thanks to correct highlighting of the Grid Control section.
- More trustworthy overview of dynamic allocation status, improving day‑to‑day monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Reliable visibility of Modbus charger connectors, simplifying configuration and operational oversight.
- More predictable behaviour when clearing charging profiles via the UI.
System integrators
- More consistent OCPP state configuration behaviour, reducing time spent tracking down mismatches between configuration and real charger states.
- Cleaner handling of distribution lists, lowering the risk of misconfiguration around notifications and alerts.
