KEY HIGHLIGHTS
- Refined BESS and dashboard charts, improving reliability and accuracy of key visualisations across the UI.
- More robust and predictable connector failsafe behaviour, reducing the risk of unexpected connector states after configuration changes.
- Improved handling of advanced BESS configuration, making advanced setups safer and easier to manage.
NEW & IMPROVED FUNCTIONALITY
BESS and dashboard chart component refinements
Issue: FLEX-364 – “BESS implementation component update”
Also addresses the following bugs:
FLEX-345 – “Dashboard graph does not visualise the meter values correctly”
FLEX-348 – “Correlation of curves is incorrect”
FLEX-367 – “Dashboard graph not working correctly”
Summary:
We have refactored and refined the shared chart component used both on the BESS page and in the dashboard. This work improves how data is visualised, ensures that curves are correctly aligned, and resolves cases where charts would fail to render properly or behave inconsistently. By updating the underlying chart component, operators now get more reliable, accurate, and consistent visualisations across BESS views and the main dashboard.
BUG FIXES
Connector failsafe configuration reliability
Issue: FLEX-195 – “Connector config update failsafe value”
Fix:
Ensures that connector configuration updates correctly apply and retain the intended failsafe value. This reduces the risk of connectors ending up in an unexpected state after configuration changes, leading to more predictable and safer fallback behaviour during communication issues or edge conditions.
Advanced BESS configuration stability
Issue: FLEX-463 – “Btt advanced config issues”
Fix:
Resolves issues in the advanced BESS configuration that could cause confusing or inconsistent behaviour in the UI. Advanced parameters are now handled more robustly, lowering the risk of misconfiguration and making it safer to tune BESS behaviour for advanced setups.
USER IMPACT
Operators / Control Hub users
- More reliable and accurate charts in both the dashboard and BESS views, improving trust in visual monitoring and analysis.
- Fewer interruptions or failures in chart rendering, resulting in smoother day-to-day monitoring.
Battery configuration users
- Safer connector behaviour thanks to more robust handling of the connector failsafe value during configuration updates.
- Clearer, more consistent BESS charts and components, reducing confusion when interpreting BESS behaviour across different views.
- More predictable advanced BTT configuration, lowering the chance of unstable or unintended setups when tuning advanced parameters.
