Overview
The Clear Charging Profile function sends a ClearChargingProfile request to the selected charging station via proxy.
When executed, this command removes all charging profiles currently stored on the charging station.
This includes:
All TxDefaultProfiles
All TxProfiles
Profiles set on the entire charging station
Profiles set on individual connectors
Charging limits configured outside of HARMON-E
Charging limits configured by HARMON-E
After execution, the charging station will no longer enforce any previously configured charging profiles.
What Happens After Execution?
Once all charging profiles are cleared:
The charging station may charge at its maximum technical capacity
No load management limits will be enforced
No Tx-based restrictions will apply
Previously configured site constraints will not be active
If a charging session is already ongoing, the charger may immediately increase its power draw to its maximum capability.
Intended Use Cases
This function is designed for exceptional situations only.
Typical use cases include:
Offboarding a charging station
Removing a charger from load management
Resolving issues with stuck or corrupted charging profiles
Troubleshooting cases where profiles cannot be corrected through normal configuration updates
This feature is not intended for routine operational use.
⚠️ Important Safety Considerations
This feature must be used with extreme caution.
Before executing the function, ensure:
There are no active charging sessions, or
The site infrastructure can safely handle the charger drawing full power, and
Clearing the profiles will not violate:
Grid connection limits
DSO requirements
Internal site power limits
Contractual power thresholds
Risk Scenarios
If executed while a charging session is active:
The vehicle may begin charging at full charger capacity
Site-level power limits may be exceeded
Grid connection limits may be violated
Protective devices may trip
Property damage may occur
Additional fees or penalties may be incurred
Once profiles are cleared, HARMON-E cannot ensure safe load control until new profiles are successfully reconfigured and accepted by the charging station.
Responsibility & Operational Warning
By using this feature, the operator accepts responsibility for ensuring safe site conditions.
FLEXECHARGE cannot guarantee safe operation when charging profiles are manually removed from a charging station.
This action should only be performed by:
Authorized technical personnel
Trained support engineers
Personnel who understand the site’s electrical limitations
Recommended Pre-Execution Checklist
Before clicking Clear Charging Profile, verify:
No active charging sessions
Site load capacity has been reviewed
DSO constraints are considered
Site owner / end customer has been informed (if applicable)
A recovery plan (re-applying correct profiles) is prepared
Recovery After Execution
After clearing profiles, ensure that:
The charging station is properly re-integrated into load management.
New charging profiles are pushed and confirmed.
Correct limits are visible and enforced.
System behaviour is monitored for a period after reconfiguration.
