This manual describes how to install the GATEWAY in an environment where internet access is provided via the customer’s router.
- Installation must be carried out only by a qualified electrician.
- Disconnect all live circuits before starting work.
- Wiring must comply with local electrical standards and regulations.

Cable Color Recommendations
Electricians must follow the wiring color standards applicable in their country.
Example for Germany:
-
230 V AC:
- 🟤 Brown = Live (L)
- 🔵 Blue = Neutral (N)
-
24 V DC:
- 🔴 Red = +24 V
- ⚫ Black = 0 V
Requirements Before Starting
- Charging stations, meters, and batteries must operate in the same local network.
- A laptop with an Ethernet port and modern web browser (e.g. Google Chrome) is available.
- Access to the customer router is available for assigning a static IP address.
1. Mount the Power Supply
Mount the Phoenix Contact UNO-PS/1AC/24DC/60W power supply according to the manufacturer’s instructions, preferably on a DIN rail.
2. Connect the Power Supply
230 V AC Input
- Use the appropriate cable cross-sections (2.5 mm² or 1.5 mm²).
- Follow the local wire color standards.
24 V DC Output to the GATEWAY
- Cable cross-section: 1.5 mm² or 0.75 mm².
-
Observe polarity:
- 🔴 Red = +24 V
- ⚫ Black = 0 V
The GATEWAY has reverse polarity protection, but it will not power on if polarity is incorrect.
3. Connect to the GATEWAY
The electrician must provide an Ethernet cable.
Connect the Ethernet cable from the GATEWAY to your Laptop to start the network configuration.
Next Steps
Proceed with the 2. Network Configuration (Router Setup) to complete the network configuration of the GATEWAY.
